
Function: Research Engineer III
Biography:
Mr. Alexander joined UT-CEM in January 2024 as a mechanical engineer. During his time at CEM, he has been a part of many projects that include developing prototype pneumatic systems and lift structures, designing and manufacturing parts used in high heat environments, performing detailed kinematic analysis of mechanical systems, and studying flywheels and their respective gyroscopic impacts on mechanical components. He has also been involved with developing upgrades to the H2@Scale site.
Research Areas/Areas of Interest
Design, test and analysis of prototype machines or components across various industries including: Department of Defense, Medical Devices, Space, Oil and Gas, and Mechanical/Electromechanical systems.
