On Tuesday, May 10, 2016 and Wednesday, May 11, 2016, CEM hosted their 2016 Advisory Panel meeting. The panel was comprised of 13 members from industry, including Dan Smith, Austin Energy; Bruno Mahonski, Dresser-Rand/Siemens; Eddie Johnston, GTI; Paulo Guedes-Pinto, TECO; Ron Van Dell, Vizn Energy Systems; Bill Weber, DRS Power & Control Technologies, Inc.; Jim Andrews, Active Power, Inc.; Stephen Kuznetsov, Raytheon; Tom Altshuler, Teledyne Marine Systems; Bob Atmur, Boeing Research & Technology; Joe Ambrosio, Unique Electric Solutions LLC; John Tesoro, Qualitrol; and Mark Carpenter, Oncor.
On Tuesday, the meeting included presentations from CEM’s Executive Team covering the Center’s current, noteworthy programs as well as a tour of the lab. On Wednesday, the panel put together a report with suggestions for CEM to improve their programs with industry. CEM’s presentations and photos from the event are now available online.
